So let's take example of that site earnings

If any buyer go to any website of e-commerce and place some order 
Like u buy any 1000 rupees product

If u buy any products and your order is confirm then that's e-commerce sites give notification of a seller of that product..

Then seller read that massage and package here product

After that process
E-commerce sites pick a product of seller and deliver to buyers home..
And collect payment of that buyer person

After that all process 

E-commerce website cut their delivery charge and also cut here commission of here services.

Then 
In a week they give all other money to the sellers bank account

So guys this simple steps all e-commerce website runs and make tons of money.

They also sell here own product and get high margins

And they hawe many seller client and buyer client so all that clients that website earn good money
